This is a public announcement from what I hope is printed to the public (albeit on my profile). Anyway...
Dictionary.com has a word-of-the-day option where they send you an infrequently used word complete with definition etymology, and examples. It slowly but surely fills your inbox with emails from Doctory Dictionary. Why do I note this? Well it's simple...
I want to challenge anyone who might be interested in a small game. Subscribe to it and start writing a story of some sort. No rules on the story itself, only on the speed that it is completed.
-Only write about 3-6 lines a day. (Sentences or "enter-key" lines? Your choice, but keep the spirit of the challenge)
-Use the word of the day in this group of lines at least once.
-Post it on your account after a decent length (maybe a week, maybe three... whatever), perhaps with a title starting with DDP or some such.
I won't likely be starting this unless I receive some other person interested in it. It's more interesting when someone can question the quality of your work when under restriction, but without consequence.
